New & Awesome Stuff Happening in Foster Care of Mesa County

Foster Care of Mesa County has been busy over the past few months! Beginning last summer, a new organization called Fostering Hope was developed. Fostering Hope is a collaboration of Foster Care of Mesa County, Partners and CASA. Each group has a need for volunteers to help children. The members of Fostering Hope recognized that some people are ready to mentor, some have the time to be a CASA advocate and others are all in to be a foster care parent. From that realization, Fostering Hope collaboration was born. Fostering Hope has been co-hosting events to recruit and share those
volunteers throughout the past several months.
As a part of this new collaboration, Foster Care of Mesa County has stepped up their efforts to recruit more foster care parents. To assist in that effort Foster Care of Mesa County has a new video and a new webpage. Both the webpage and video offer excellent insight on how and why one might become a foster parent. Please consider sharing the video and links with anyone you know who might be interested in either being a foster parent, mentor or advocate. That someone might be YOU! Foster Care of Mesa COunty can also be reached at 970 248 2794.
